Cyréna Samba-Mayela is an accomplished French track and field athlete specializing in the 100m and 60m hurdles. She established herself as an international standout early in her career, earning silver at the 2017 World U18 Championships and 2021 European U23 Championships. Her breakthrough came in 2022 when she won the World Athletics Indoor Championship title in the 60m hurdles, becoming World Champion in a French national record of 7.78.
Cyréna continued her rise to the top of the sport in 2024, winning silver at the World Indoor Championships before claiming the European Championship title in the 100m hurdles with a French national and championship record of 12.31.
